Download a file with command prompt

Download.exe is a valuable command utility that you can use to download any file or number of files by having the download location. This is really handy if you'd like to setup a script that will download all the files from an ftp server straight to a desired location via a quick batch operation. It's certainly useful to have in your toolbox just in case you need it. I imagine a good use for this would be for synchronizing environments, media, or perhaps creating a download script that puts all your useful utilities in to the windows path of a new machine ready for use.

Disable Security Alerts in Vista
If you followed my quick tip to disable UAC in Vista from yesterday, you may have noticed that the security center warns you that UAC is disabled. It also continuously reminds you that it's disabled until you turn it back on. Since we obviously have no intentions of turning it back on, here's how to disable that annoying little pop-up:
Disable UAC in Windows Vista
One of the annoying features of Windows Vista is the implementation of the new UAC prompt. This is the prompt that you receive every time you need to perform a task that requires elevated permissions. If it annoys you as much as it did me, you can use this simple fix to turn it off completely.

Windows App Humanized Enso
Humanized Enso is a great addition to any keyboard junkies application list. Personally, one of my favorite applications. Enso is a lightweight launcher app that indexes your PC for application names.
