Windows App Sound Volume Hotkeys
If you're like me and using an average joe keyboard at work or at home without all the bells and whistles of those fancier keyboards with all sorts of shortcut keys dedicated to specific tasks like opening your email and controlling your volume.. this very simple but handy application will at least sooth one of your woes of being underprivileged.
Change Registered information in Windows
If you are interested in changing what name/manufacturer your version of Windows is registered under, you can do this with a very simple registry change. This applies to all Windows versions although I cannot verify if it is the same on Win7 as I do not have a Win7 box yet. 
Disable Security Alerts in Vista
If you followed my quick tip to disable UAC in Vista from yesterday, you may have noticed that the security center warns you that UAC is disabled. It also continuously reminds you that it's disabled until you turn it back on. Since we obviously have no intentions of turning it back on, here's how to disable that annoying little pop-up:
